AAC, in alliance with industry and Navy partners, designs, produces, and sustains cutting-edge weapons and sensors.
AAC, in partnership with Lockheed Martin, delivers the AN/SQQ-89(V) Surface Ship ASW Combat System which provides integrated Undersea Warfare (USW) combat management, fire control, command and control, and onboard training to enable surface combatants to support engagement of USW targets in both open ocean and littoral environments.
AAC has been at the forefront of surface fleet ASW combat system RCI implementation since AAC’s Improved Performance Sonar (IPS) SBIR transitioned to the Scaled Improved Performance Sonar (SIPS) Program of Record (POR). While AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 was undergoing its initial system development, SIPS integrated key functionality from AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 as an adjunct system to legacy AN/SQQ-89(V) systems. SIPS provided access to the most current ASW performance then available, while the AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 ramped up to its initial production.
Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Integrated Systems
AAC continues its tradition of RCI leadership through AAC’s Prime Contractor role for LCS's Integrated Systems, offering the latest technology in seamlessly integrated, flexible, open architecture, COTS-based systems:
